> Desipoly is a crypto-settled prediction market platform focused on India-relevant events — politics, cricket, business, and entertainment. Markets resolve in USDC against clear public sources. The platform targets non-resident Indians, the global Indian diaspora, and traders worldwide who follow Indian events. Desipoly operates offshore and is not available to users in jurisdictions that restrict prediction markets.

## What Desipoly is

## FAQ

- **Is Desipoly regulated in India?** No. Desipoly is hosted offshore and is not a SEBI-regulated exchange, not a licensed gaming operator, and does not accept INR. Users in jurisdictions that restrict prediction markets should not use the service.
- **How is a market resolved?** A human committee proposes the outcome based on the named public source in each market's resolution criteria. If disputed, the outcome is escalated to the UMA Optimistic Oracle v3. Happy-path resolution is typically within hours of the event.
- **What if the resolution source is ambiguous?** Each market explicitly names the authoritative source and the numeric or categorical threshold. Ambiguous markets are rejected at listing.
- **Do I need INR to trade?** No. All deposits, settlement, and payouts are in USDC.
